I don't see why they care, if they want Google to stop using @gmail.com they should have but the domain name first... I understand them not wanting their companies name mistaken for something else or stolen or anything along the lines of that, but GMail is simply a shortened for of Google Mail. My name if abbreviated the same way: FLast (f=first as in first name) is a company name too, now are they going to sue me or make me change my name is I right my name somewhere as F Last? No...

Does anyone here play City of Villains or City of Heroes? I do, I'm Cinder Viper on the Triumph server.City of Villains is the most criticially aclaimed Online game ever, although it may seem not quite so, and that Everquest, or World of Warcraft, or Guild Wars is they are not, you really have to read the reviews on is game and compare them to others also City of Heroes (which came out before city of villains) had over 100,000 active players in a week.I'm one of the leaders of the Voidless Shadows super group, if you want to join contact me.If anyone else plays CoV say your server, name, level, and archetype, maybe we can hook-up.Here's mine:TriumphCinder Viper10CorrupterP.S. My website is CoV/CoH related check it out if you are interested.

No, Xisto has a perpetual license (I think) meaning it is good foreverIt would not cost them ANYTHING WHATSOEVER to upgrade, if you buy an IPB license you can upgrade to any of the newer versions without paying again...

It's used in the program Game Maker, and it's freeware in a way, but it can be registered for $20 to unlock more features. It's not really new either, it's been around for quite a few years now, I think I was 6 or 7 when GML came into exsistance...

That was an excelant explanation, but when I can afford my own server I'm going to use www, anything else tends to confuse users newer to the internet, who recognize only www, they will try to enter www, but they will instead be searching for the subdomain, and get a timeout or Cannot be found error.

My OS would be have a graphically pleasing interface like Mac OS 10, it would have the easy use of Windows without the sucking part.It would come with a browser based of FireFox, it would have an auto-updater connected to a server with an OC 225 internet connection. It would be easy to install, and let you create as many users as you wanted. It would have an auto-emulation system for Windows, Linux, Mac OS, PS2, XBOX, and GameCube, so that if any files compatible with those where put in it would run them (not perfectly, but effectively and with decent speeds). Then I would just try to decrease the amount of space it takes up so users can have more space for things like music, pictures, games, or any random crap they want on their PC.

I'm working on programming an Internet Applications suite. I'm planning to make the following: -Web Browser -Webmail/E-Mail client (is a mixture of webmail and an e-mail client like outlook, maybe eventually offer free e-mail to users) -Instant Messaging Program -Firewall (just a basic tool that let's you lock either incoming or outcoming traffic on specified ports, or lock down incoming/outgoing/both traffic and put blocks on all ports.) -Quick spyware scan (just checks for common spyware filenames/locations and checks it against file sizes/extensions and would delete and report on them accordingly) Does anyone have any other ideas for things I can add to the suite? Also if you have ideas for the design of any of the programs tobe included in the suite I need some help. Here's what I'm thinking... Browser- Tabbed Browsing, uses IE to compile pages and HTML code, Download Manager (uses a custom script to download files) Webmail- Need suggestions. Instant Messaging- Away messages, file transfer (with ability to set a antivirus program to check downloaded files), font color, style, size, etc... options, buddy icons (provided with the program or uploaded from PC), buddy sounds (set sounds when users sign online, or send you a message, etc...), Games (play online games against each other), Entire Suite- It will have an all in one login/ registration system. I have programmed and perfected a .dll that can connect to a MySQL server and run SQL queries, I plan to use this to integrate it with an IPB 2.1 forum that support, chatting and plugins can be found on. User's will be able to choose from provided Themes, or create their own using CSS and .png graphic files. There will be a panel that has a list of css properties and values that they can enter a hex code for or select a color from a dropdown box. They can then set replacement Graphics, and this is all put into one folder /Themes/name. I'm aiming to have a solid beta of this available within a year. Notice from m^e: Wrong forum. Moved to Programming. Topic edited.

Hogwarts Role-playing Site Review First one i ever reviewed.
GameUltra replied to evion's topic in General Discussion
Pretty nice, at first I thought the layout was a very horrible looking throw together, but then I realised it was still loading, when it was done it was actually pretty good. I have one suggestion though, you should add some games (I can help with this if you want) Also some courses for some fun HP related trivia and stuff, try Moodle. -
Cryptids:species Believed 2 Exsist But Not Proved
GameUltra replied to GameUltra's topic in Science and Technology
Well, I guess there really isn't too much interest in this, well I think it's cool anyways...I'll just get started then, I personally don't think the pterosaur-like cryptid is likely to exist, but it is possible if it lives deep in the congo or up on high mountains, or any number of places still highly remote to the human race.It would be cool to have an animal like this in exsistance, but it just doesn't seem true to me, it's albeit plausible, but unlikely... What do you think?I know this actually has nothing to do with cryptid be cause they do exsists, but aren't Ligers/Li-Ligers and Tigons/Ti-Tigons cool? -

How To Set-up A Proxy In Ie And Firefox
GameUltra replied to GameUltra's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Keywordd almost nearly anything can be traced, there is never complete anonimity these days, even the best of proxies have weakness's I believe Java and ActiveX have the ability to get past proxies, although they aren't always a good bet if you want to get an IP. People will find way to violate your privacy, whether it's as big as hacking into your info, or finding out the small bits and peices from an IP. -
Cryptids:species Believed 2 Exsist But Not Proved
GameUltra posted a topic in Science and Technology
Cryptids are species that are believed to exsits (such as Big Foot, Sasquatch, Yetis, Loch Ness Monster, and several hundred others) I think we should start a discussion, or debate on what cryptids people believe to exsist. Here is a list of just a few Cryptids (whill try to find more/better ones) https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/ I think we should start with Pterosaur-like cryptid: -
Lochness Monster Exists? Does it really?....
GameUltra replied to Kid Saiyan's topic in Science and Technology
Ah, the Lach Ness monster, one of many Cryptids believed to exsist. This one actually might be true, if the dinosaurs where killed by a meteor one that can live underwater (one that looks like what "Nessie" is believed to look like) it might have easily been spared, there could be several of them, but they just might live at extremeely deep depths (highly possible) I think you should all read on about cryptids. This post has inspired a new post for me too... -
Paper Thin Video Screen The morning news video?
GameUltra replied to kaputnik's topic in Science and Technology
Harry Potter style newspapers, that's what I first thought too when I read the newspapers part. But really, how durable would these screens be? And how safe, what kind of power would they use? Surely you wouldn't need to plug your newspaper into a electric socket... I know they have very small batteries, but would that stick out kind of funny on a newspaper? And what are the exact prices of these screens, enough to not blast the price of any newspaper using them sky-high? I mean surely this would cost at least a hundred dollars, maybe 20 if it's good, but who's going to want to add that cost to a newspaper whe nyou could watch the news for the same effect, maybe buy one as a keep-sake for something as historical as such a hi-tech invention, but honestly, it has to be unreasonable to use this in a newspaper. It could even be dangerous if the current is strong enough... -
Cool! If there's one thing I like it's technology, especially if it's technology relating to computers. I'm a bit of a computer nerd in the rough, but I'll be a full computer geek soon enough, I'm going to play around with Linux, and I now know what MAC Address is.

Google Engine On Your Site! How to get on your site
GameUltra replied to scab_dog's topic in Search Engines
All I can reccomend to you is that you make sure you use Meta Tags on all of your pages, and avoid any pages that are blank or don't relate to your Meta tags, also make sure you use the Google submit page in your CPanel... -
I am trying to make a spreadsheet that will automatically add the numbers in the first two collumns in every row and write the answerin the third collumn, but I'd like it to carry over for every row after that, but without me having to set it to add them, does anybody know how to do this?

No, I'm saying anyone who supports him and his ideas are complete idiotic fools, I've seen only a few ideas or effects of his administration that where good, actually a better phrase would be not terrible.
