Imagine if the government was to one day be controlled by a computer A.I. That would be some trippy stuff. It might even work, but I just don't think people would ever be able to accept the fact that a computer controls their lives. Say if all the nations of the world were to combine into one nation (which would just never happen) the whole A.I. idea might work out.

Has anyone ever played the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy text game? I remember playing it awhile ago on my friend's really really old Mac. It was a fun game, though I got stuck very earlier and stopped playing. I saw the movie yesterday. I had never read the book and watching the movie was funny because it was just like the game. But then again that is pretty obvious that it'd be like that. Anyways, I'm gonna go and try to buy that game. It'll prolly be like $100 on eBay.

Yes, this is true. Basically all of World War II has been played out in a game. They're running out of things to do. I guess we will have to find another war to use. You're right about how they were using Vietnam. They should keep going with that.

Yes, Arcanum has to have some of the best voice acting I have ever heard. The story was great. Too bad I could never actually finish that game. I found it very hard to beat the last parts of the game when your a halfling thief who just steals basically everything to win. Though some parts I needed to actually fight. I just usually used my party to do that for me.

I was actually thinking of buying an entirely new computer. I would like to change my question to what kind of motherboards would have the slot I would need. I'm pretty sure when I get it I'll be gettin a Pentium 4.

Have any of you ever played Arcanum? It was a very good RPG. One of the best I have ever played. I never really meet anyone who has played it. Just wondering if you guys have. If you haven't then I recommend you go and pick it up.

Oh sorry. I did not know this. I knew they had done it with CS but I thought it had been the same thing with DoD. I never really play DoD much anymore. Maybe if I did I would have known, or maybe if I just payed more attention.

this is basically just a copy of battlefield 1942, dont take it in the wrong way though, i love this game, the fact that it is star wars makes it such an awesome game, i just thought that some of the maps were a little too tiny, whenever i want to play a game like this i would go for the original, battlefield, my main complain on this game would be the aircraft, the maps are mostly way to cramped for aircraft, they are ok but it is a little too much of an arcade fast paced type game for me

I have played a demo for this game. It was very good in my opinion. It had great graphics and the squad system is one of the best ever made. I also thought it was funny how you can change your gun from something like an assault rifle into a sniper rifle.

you are going to want to be very organized and be able to be a good leader, youre going to also have to be a little strict, you and your clan will need to figure out some strategies for certains maps, you need to stick together as a team, no individual glory, also, cal stands for "cyberathlete amatuer league" you are going to want to get into that, it is basically a ladder and you have a schedual to go against other clans that are also in cal, they are different categories too, like cal-im, cal-o, cpl is the the professional version of cal, the ones who actually get paid to play cs

i remember starting to play mohaa when i was about 12, i loved that game so much, its still pretty cool, i never play it anymore because everyone in the clan i was in has moved on and refuses to play it, i just wish i could get them all back together for a day and just have a day of good old school gaming

my favorite maps for cs would have to be de_dust and cs_assault, i see that most people seem to like dust2 better, i hate dust2 to be honest, the main thing that makes me hate it is how site a has so many places to cover, but then again it is a challenge and it does make it more fun

I do not think it works for Half-Life 2. I believe it is only for the first HL. In case you don't have the first HL, run out and get it. I'm sure it would only cost about $15, $20, but that is IF you can find it. You are better off just buying the platinum or gold pack or whatever it is with most of the Half-Life games and some mods.

I agree. NS has to be one of the best mods ever made for HL. If Valve was still situated on HL instead of HL2 they would probably buy the rights to NS just like they did with Day of Defeat.

i use alcohol 120% to do this, it think it is very good though ive never used nero before, it is a trial i think but you could get the full version through bittorents if you know how to do that
