Here are my favorites controllers in order (in this generation's systems).Ps2XboxGamecubeXbox controllers are the most comfortable, but I like the configuration on the ps2 controllers. I used to like the gamecube controllers but... There only ok, not bad, but not better than the others.-----Why Xbox controller is second and not 1st.--The "A" and "B" buttons are switched (hard to get used to at 1st).--The "X" and "Y" buttons are switched (hard to get used to at 1st).--"Start" and "Back" (I like "Select" better) are under the left analog stick... I hate that, it makes it too hard to pause in the middle of action such as in a fighting game, holding back on the analog to block so you can reach and to pause is a little tough to do.--"Black" and "White" are too low, I'd rather an "L2" or "R2" button. lol, everytime I go to hit black or white my hand doesn't go low enough and I always hit A or B instead. Got to get better at that...--I don't really like the main left pad to be an analog stick, I like the D-Pad under my left thumb instead, and use an analog as a back up, I was always like that, ever since the 1st Nintendo. Rather that D-Pad than those arcade analog sticks.Otherwise I like the comfortability and the smoothness of the L and R buttons on the Xbox better than the others.

This controller is great. It is simple, can work like a gun for shooters.Looks pretty good.Turn it sideways so it is like an old controller from nintendo.you can jack thinks into it like an extra analog, and many more posibilities. If you don't like the look, there is shells that make it more like our average controller, you can jack it into drums, and much more. There is no reason why people should dislike this controller, it is almost better than the others in every way.

Gaming Console, Which I Should Buy? which gaming console should i buy?
Shengeta replied to patelg's topic in Computer Gaming
If you don't want to wait I would suggest getting a PS2, which is my personal favorite. There are some cool fighting games like Tekken and Soul Caliber and also good RPG's like Xenosaga and Star Ocean. But every system has good games. If you're in to the Mario and Resident Evil stuff then diefinietly get Nintendo Game Cube. Super Smash Bros. Melee is a pretty sweet game. It's one the best party games around. The Resident Evil games on Gamecube are good too. And, if you're into First Person Shooters then go for X BOX. Every system is good really. It just depends on what kind of games you're in to. Notice from BuffaloHELP: Edited as requested. -
Here is one that I find to be very interesting.----------------------------------------------------A young girl had decided to sneak out of the house to go to a party her protective parents wouldn't allow her to go to. While she was there she hooked up with a guy she liked and they went to a local make-out spot. The guy was drinking heavily and when he got too demanding she insisted on him taking her back to the party. On the way back they crashed into another vehicle. When the girl awoke in the hospital she knew she was dying, she was told that they guy she'd been with had died in the accident and so had the couple in the other car. She begged a nurse to tell her parents that she was very sorry she'd disobeyed them, the nurse just looked at her. After the girl died another nurse asked why she hadn't said anything with the teen had asked her to give the message to her parents. The nurse said, "I didn't know what to say, the people in the other car were her parents." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------So what do you think? Pretty weird eh? The message I got from this one is always listen to your parents and, of course, never drink and drive.

I think fighting games are the best, play nothing but them most of the time. I'm one of those fighting fanatics you would see at all the street fighter and tekken tournaments. All played the hell out of most fighting games and studied them. I've also been making my own fighting game, hard to work out the bugs. It used to be Street Fighter with the best fighting, the came Tekken and Virtua Fighter. They got beaten by Dead or Alive (not beaten as better to most eyes, but beaten by better fighting). Then came Soul Caliber and the new Tekken, the new Tekken looks the hottest but still somewhat the same, Soul Calibers fighting rocked and was much like Dead or Alive. Those two were the best. What I like about Tekken is that they use real fighting styles but you just throw the moves, not martial art combat, just the moves. But then the new Mortal Kombats came out. I thought I'd never buy them. I always thought Mortal Kombat was immature which it is, but I thought it was still gonna be a fake fighting game like before. Well, in fighting, the new MK cooks (or should i say kooks) all the others. not one, not two, but three !real! fighting styles. and they don't just throw the moves either, the blocking and strafing you do makes it look like real martial art kombat. Not only that but you can fly through walls and into traps, pick up weapons lying around and the characters are cool and actually got style unlike Tekken and DOA's boring characters. People who still say Mortal Kombat isn't that great are just against it because of the immaturity in it. I was against it, but no more am i. As for the Graphics, alot of people say it isn't great, I've even heard some1 say it looked like MK4. What!? MK4 maybe they need to compare, the GFX on MK Alliance and Deception are beautiful, not the best, but beautiful. (Except Noob Saibot's second costume, looks a little MK4ish but the best outfit ever, my style). So for MK I give two thumbs up, this time, it beats the others. (which is sad for the more serious games... disappointing)

playstation single player nothing, Xbox doesnt have even near as many games and multiplayerability comes in abundance on all systems. Xbox always has Halo Halo Halo thats all people say for Xbox, I've played that game alot and it gets boring after a while, it is overated. Like i sed i like all systems but people going down on a system like this is getting me mad, no system is much better than the other. I've heard stupid things just like that being said, no backup and i find myself bying multiplayer games for the ps2 more than any of the others.

yea posting is fun, probably another reason why i like this service, posting is nothing to me! I sometimes try to post little things but i find myself writing alot, which is good as well, more points for me, which that makes it even better, once again, i love Xisto i hope it never falls.

What New Games Are You Looking Forward To Getting?
Shengeta replied to zuhayr's topic in Computer Gaming
Ummm, i dont mean to get off topic but isnt this in the wrong section? Well anyways i would like to see a new mortal kombat, the new mortal kombats hav the best fighting system now. I also want the new smash brothers coming out for revolution, and is that new area 51 game out yet? I played a demo and it makes Halo look like crap... simply kick butt. -
I beliee the new X-box is not gonna have a hard drive, I know that from somewhere? I dont remember but if they dont put a hard drive in x-box, that is gonna be a minor downfall. Well, they probably did it because too many people use it just to play hacked and backed up games and get emulators on it and whatnot. too much piracy cuz of that i guess. Well the new nintendo is getting a hardrive i believe and i think the ps3 might be too. Sheesh, I had all of this down and I'm forgetting i guess. Well I like all the systems, all good in many ways, why people fight over it i dont know, you shouldnt brag about your new "X-box 360 is gonna be better!" when they all kinda suck. I read an article and many proffesionals are dissapointed cuz these new systems arent as close to being as good as they should be. Simply, the consoles arent doing too too well. It is pretty sad that a console for video games cant beat even my pc. and pcs arent meant just for video games and mine can clock it faster than these new generation consoles like nothing, oh yea, my pc is great, but not the newest in speed, mine may be considered old now, that is jus sad. Get a friggen job and get all the systems they dont cost much ya bumbs. Notice from BuffaloHELP: Merged two posts. Please refrain from making double posts.

Today I've learned about many Urban Legends i did not know like:Some Urban Legends include playing Led Zeppelin's stairway to heaven backwards for demonic messages which IS true, some of The Beetle's songs backwards do the same, and even more as well. Ohio Players have a song with a scream of a woman being murdered by the band's manager right outside of their studio while recording, they kept it in the song as a sick tribute. She was a nude woman on the cover of the album with honey all over her, well that honey melted some of fiberglass and the glass hardened on her body, she peeled it off ripping her skin and ruiningher modeling carreer. She ran to the band (who was recording a song at the time) and manager complaining she was gonna sue them off the roof, that's when the manager got up and stabbed her to death. "Love RollerCoaster" is the name of the song, listen to it, this one is real.More include one of the munchkins from wizard of the oz hanging himself on the set during a part of the movie and u can see it in the background woods if you look closely on one of the scenes. There are many many others that i have learned maybe I'll post them another time or you can look up a bunch yourself.

Actually Cactuars are in almost every final fantasy game, maybe not chronicles but every1 in the series and more.I had and idea, people can post funny sig ideas, and maybe I or someone else (psst Saint Michael... Johnny) get to making them! That would be fun, no skill required, just fun... and they got to be funny.I got a real good one I want to start maing soon, it will be much fun to do them but like i sed before, I won't tell what they will be, I would like to do them without someone grabbing my idea and making it before I do.This is gonns be good hee hee

I was thinking C++ and Java too, but besides them, what else? Java used in a few companies? I heard it was used everywhere I play D&D :cough: :cough: with a lot of programmers on sundays, and a couple of them work for the state, all say Java is really good and widely used, best for the web and most companies change to java.

Same here! You will find my forums and sites on like a thousand hosts because I left them for some reason, so my site and forums are like all over the internet. But after coming to Xisto, everything is great!! It is even the best hoster for a host that wants you to post! I was gonna get into Xisto then move on to one of those really really good free hosts that only except quality sites, but nowi decided I will be here forever, I might go to OpAqUe's paid hosting later in the future. Once again for the hundredth time, Xisto rules! How could that one guy come on here say it sucks in the shoutbox? must be some guy from another host that thinks his is sooo good, I bet it sucks compared to Xisto... yup...

Why not a DS and a PSP, N-Gage doesn't do well, their GFX stinks along with the phone service, and their games don't seem to be great... well... at least the games they actually get which isn't many...
-
If you look in the battle of the handheld topic I made, You will see the specs of three handheld consoles, that'll tel you what you want. The GFX are a little better than DS's and PSP is winning in sales, but it is kinda like the battle of the consoles, it is who's side you are on, or what games you like. If you don't like that bullcrap of sides like me then choose because of what you would like to play or what your more comfortable with... or buy them both ...By the way, no I don't choose PSP's side, my brother has a DS though and I'm not much into the handhelds anymore, and either way I don't think none of the new ones will top the money GBA has made.
-
Actually I will tell you that they aren't, because they aren't. The roms are what can be illegal not the emulators. and the roms aren't illegal if you own a copy of the game on cartridge or cd, or if you delete the rom within 24 hours of your pc.the Double Dargon series, Kung Fu and POW were good too, plus many many more of course
-
Yea you make a good point, if it were more like the gameboy advance... and If I was signed up with paypal I would buy you a sandwich , N-Gage is going nowhere, I think people would rather buy a cellphone and the psp or ds then buy the n-gage all in one. I wasn't going to mention it as you may be able to tell, but then I said what the heck and posted the specs, you know, so you can compare how much better the other two are compared to the N-Gage. Oh yeah I played the new N-Gage QD or whatever it is called in an EB games, it was a wrestling game, it sucked, so did the system...way too many buttons, it has the whole keyboard plus a bit more... GFX sucked, the look is ok, I mean I like the colors and the logo, just not the one's on the screen... it's crap.
-
I think it is pretty funny that the system has power that can even match some of the systems today. I mean 2.7GHZ? What the heck, for nintendo and famicom games? That's pretty crazy, this system looks like it is more than 200 times more powerful than the original, sweet. Well if they didn't have all this powerful crap in it, maybe it would be alot less than it is now, or what about an emulator? those are free usually and you can play all of NES's games depending on which one you get.
-
Man so many languages!! lol, ok I can't take that many...so lets here I don't know, the most important 3 or 4 for now, then I'll learn the others in the future.Write the top four each of you think I should use and tell me why, that way I can choose out of the many decisions I will have. Those will be the once I should do in the college and the rest for later on. Some classes I'm taking might have some programming languages in one, like HTML and Java.

The Generation NEX is soon going to be released, even before the X-Box 360? Is this system gonna take the lead and beat all the others? Haha. no. Actually it is a video game system by Messiah Entertainment, but what is it really? It is a rerelease of the original Nintendo/Famicom! It supports all Nes games from Japan and the U.S., not only that but it supports wireless controllers! Glitches won't happen like they did, and either will the annoying screen flickers, or crashing. They made it look more rounded that is all, pretty much the same look just not old geezer looking. So put aside 360, Revolution, and Ps3 and pull out your old nintendo games folks! the NEX is here for 60 dollars!! I always wanted to do that...(this is real info)
-
Like I've said many times before, look at the specs I posted in the other topic on the three systems.

Wait, sorry for the double post but isn't Microsoft gonna make games for the DS?

Handhelds are starting to become a battle now that sony and others are copying Nintendo and throwing out competitive mini systems. Doesn't this sound like what happened on the consoles long ago? Nintendo starts, others follow; yea Atari and others systems were out before nintendo, but games almost died and Nintendo came out with the first REAL video game system. Now in the handheld age, it seems the same is happening. Sega falls and here comes sony, probably followed by microsoft. Let us just forget about the N-Gage for now. Well here they are, the specs. Yes PSP has sold more than the DS so far, but that doesn't mean you can count DS out. Picture chatting, dual screen touch screen...and...well I don't know what the DS has... a pen? I haven't looke into the handhelds much although my brother has a DS and I've seen a couple of people with the PSP. I'm usually the guy who tries to put up a fight with the systems, but I got to look this up for a bit, I never choose the sides. Oh yea I've played the metroid demo that comes with the DS, and the graphix on that system look really good to me. Does PSP have wireless linking? Oh yea the internet duh, well I got to look up on both of these two and make sure they can put up a good fight, too bad for the N-Gage though never liked it, not many do...

How many people can swim anymore, I mean swimming has been going down since kids are staying indoors more throughout the decades. I probably forgot how to swim, I used to be able to, but if I got in the deep end, I'd probable drop like a rock, I'm not a great floater.
