The Big Bang: Did It Really Happen?

HOME      >>       Science and Technology

Why do I have the impression that some people talk about the history of science, and what never was, without having read extensively in either Aristotle or Newton?

P.S. I am a fan of Aristotle, particularly his philosophical writings. It is too bad that his scientific accomplished are often overshadowed by what he got wrong in physics, not to mention the bad rap he has been given due the distortion of his ideas by medeival writers.

I believe in this theory. Though there is no real evidence of this ever happening, there is evidence of the 'residue' left behind that was created when this 'bang' happened. There are so many galaxies in the universe, that something had to trigger this. And still, in present time galaxies are being born and colliding, merging into a single elliptical galaxy.
