So... Umm... What exactly does it do?

I think this tool is like Dreamweaver or Frontpage. Those kind of WYSIWYG web site editor. Those editors are easy to use with drag and drop function and for those of us that don't want to deal with HTML codes. But personally I don't really like those kind of editor. They generate too much unwanted codes for you and sometimes they are not fully customized . So still prefer to stick to text editor for editing.

Yeah, I prefer to stick to text editors too. I remember once, a while ago, I decided to try out Dreamweaver because it seemed so much easier than writing HTML manually (and the program was recommended by a couple of friends), so I did. However, after I'd added numerous elements, I discovered that I couldn't move and shift the elements to my pleasure (Dreamweaver refused to let me move it the way I wanted), and so I ended up looking through the code and trying to move elements around to suit the design.

To my horror, the code was a huge mess and I barely knew what was going on behind the scenes. That was definitely not worth the trouble, and it actually took me less time to just code the thing from scratch (again) instead of fixing it from Dreamweaver's generated version. To me, it's just a lot easier to organize when you actually know what's going on behind the scenes rather than jumping into the mess after the mess has already been created.

Now I obviously can't comment on bluevoda, but I don't suppose I'll be using it either.

That's really what I hate about these, especially frontpage. You can't just do a line break, it puts in a whole new <p> tag. And then it makes half the code only compatible with Internet Explorer, when you could easily make the same piece of code compatible with all browsers.

Definitely sounds like another WYSIWYG HTML editor. I have tried a couple of HTML Editors before (FrontPage, Dreamweaver, 1st Page, etc.). If I have to choose one of those, it's going to be Dreamweaver even though I also notice that it has "garbage" code in it sometimes. The thing I don't like about Dreamweaver is the resource usage it requires. I think 1st Page uses less (http://www.webdesignland.com/).Will try out Blue Voda and see if it is a less resource intensive program than the others. But for the most part, I'm also more fond of using a text editor instead of any WYSIWYG programs for easy tasks.

Most of time, the output of these WSYIWYG editors is'nt valid and compatible with multiple browsers.I stick to pure self-coding

Anyway just some addons from what I've mentioned earlier on. Agreeded that self code of HTML is better and cleaner. But just a point to make. I personally feel that by using a WYSIWYG editor can be useful only for designing web pages. I've experience before self coding and design at the same time. It turns up to be quite UGLY as being creative and logical at the same time. So if I'm into the designing mode, I would just use those WYSIWYG editor for doing purely designing. After that, self code that design using text editor. That is my way. Anyone got better method of doing, let me know.
