The two are reportly teaming up in a joint venture to offer a free data search tool that will be geared towards businesses that offer better Yahoo search results. The search product should be a huuuge success since IBM already sells a business focused search product called OmniFind that allows businesses to search through internal documents. You couple this with the Yahoo search platform and wallah! Better search results! Check out the link below to read the article. Its really interesting. Don't expect Yahoo to enter the enterprise search field however. Quatrux 4 Report post Posted December 13, 2006 So this is great, that search engines are improving, so if yahoo is improving, automatically google will also improve and it is just better for us that they are at "war", until they won't start doing something stupid though.
