i got this one question...I have this page http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ with an image of the book not coming out.....the image is named chapterm-big.jpg...but the image just want to hide....i swear there's nothing wrong with the html....or am I wrong???
No dude, there's no problem with the HTML code, in fact its quite good! The problem you're facing is with the server. There are 2 possibilities :Either you have NOT uploaded the image on the server (or it has not been uploaded by accident) - It shows a 404 Not Found Error.Or The image being of the WRONG EXTENSION, it got scrapped by the server while publishing I think you should check whether the picture can been seen on your local disk. If you run Windows & see the picture, then I suggest that you change the extension from ".jpg" to ".gif" and try uploading the image again.
Conclusion : Its a server-side problem. Either the image does not exist on the server (you need to re-upload it) or the image is corrupted (you need to check it on your local disk).
I'll give it a check thru
what a difference deleting a single line makes...so i got rid of the ref. to chapter-m.com between </style> & </head> tags....and walla!!!
thanks hercco for pointing that out for me
