Neopets.com Do you need help with neopets?

Recommended Posts

Have you heard of neopets.com? It is a fun gaming site with all sorts of stuff to earn virtual money that isnt worth anything but gives you an idea of what its like to make money. so it you haven't checked it out then do so! hi my name is dumpster7 and i am here to answer any of your questions that deal with neopets. i have been playing neopets for 52 or 53 months now and i have accumulated over a milion np a day. My username on neopets is also dumpster7 so if you want to neomail me then please do so. i have a gelert, a eeyrie and a blumaroo but i use the lab ray so often that they usually change every month. So my website on Xisto is also about neopets but it is currently suspended untill i get enough credits.

ill tell you right now that the easiest way to make neopoints is to invest in stocks that are priced at 15 np a share and then wait a month till the price goes to 40 and sell al your shares. i did it and i made exactly one million np. I even have the screenshot to prove it. One really good stock is bb . currently the priice is up so you shouldnt buy it. but just wait till it goes down to 15-20 and buy shares like crazy cause when the price goes up to 40 again you will double and maybe even triple your money. BUT BEWARE YOU SHOULD BE PATIENT AND WAIT TILL THE PRICE GOES DOWN DO NOT SELL UNTILL THE PRICE IS AT 38-40.

believe it or not i am currently creating a podcast (FOR ALL OF YOU WITH AN iPOD) so that people can listen to my tips as well as hear recent news about neopets and learn more about recent additions to my website and new ways of making neopoints. If you have any questions then please neomail me my username is dumpster7 or send me a PM on Xisto.

ok this is about the lost desert plot so if your interested then listen up! What you missed is this. We can now go in & read the scrolls. But you dont learn anything by doing that.

Also, you can go talk to the foreman (who is level 2, 5,20) who is now a chef. Then go talk to the lady in the temple gift shop. Then go equip the bottle she gives you to your pet, take that pet to the battledome & fight the spirit. After fighting the spirit (win or lose) uneqip the bottle, and take it back to the temple gift shop. The lady will give you a tshirt. Take that to the chef. He gives you a useless crystal.
I put mine in my box for safekeeping. We dont know if it will be like the sand, totally useless, or come in handy for something else later.

Well, first off, we get to read the scrolls. Tho so far they dont do anything.
2nd. you can get a "useless crystal" by going to talk to the chef on the 2nd floor.
3rd. go to the temple gift shop & talk to that shopkeeper. She give you a bottle.
4th. go equip that bottle, fight the spirit in the battledome & get it filled w/ black smoke or whatever it is.
5th. go BACK to the temple shop.
6th. take the tshirt she then gives you back to the chef. he gives you the useless crystal.

Instructions how to Map:

Go to the Temple and when you see the first set of 5 doors take a screenshot.
press ....PRT SCRN .... (this key is normally just right of the F12 key on your keyboard)

Open the program .... PAINT (click .... START .... PROGRAMS .... ACCESSORIES .... PAINT)

Paste the screenshot into Paint .... CTRL V

You should now have a screenshot of the whole page infront of you in the Paint program.

Now to crop the image. In the toolbar running down the left side there is a dotted star and dotted square.

Click .... DOTTED STAR .... and then .... DOTTED SQUARE .... this will now let you drag a dotted box around the image you wish to crop. (include doors and any arrows left and right of the doors)

press .... CTRL C .... (copy)

press .... FILE .... NEW .... (it will ask you if you want to save click NO )

press .... CTRL V .... (this will paste the cropped image)

Next to resize the image as it is still way too large.

press .... IMAGE .... SKETCH / SKEW and reduce the .... HORIZONTAL & VERTICAL .... settings from 100% down to .... 30%. click OK.

Now save and number the image into a folder. press .... FILE .... SAVE AS number the image 1 and if you have the option select .... GIF .... format as the file size will be a lot smaller.

Now go back to the doors in the temple and click on the arrows left and right, taking screenshots of them and repeating the process above, numbering them in sequence. When you have completed all the screenshots in that first line you can start joining them together to make a map.

open .... PAINT

press .... FILE .... NEW

Now to resize the canvas and make it very large so that you have lots of room.

press .... IMAGE .... ATTRIBUTES .... and change the .... WIDTH and HEIGHT .... to .... 2500 x 2000 .... and click OK

next press .... EDIT .... PASTE FROM .... find the folder with your images and select image number 1. Now drag it into position in the center of the canvas.

next press .... EDIT .... PASTE FROM .... find the folder with your images and select image number 2. Now drag that into the correct position and when you have all the images in their correct order on the map save it.

press .... FILE .... SAVE AS .... name it .... TEMPLE MAP .... and click OK.

Make a back up copy too every so often, just incase you make a major mistake somewhere along the line. name it .... TEMPLE MAP BACKUP

Now go back to the Temple and venture down an empty corridor to the next line of doors and repeat the process above.

After adding your second line of doors onto the map you can start linking the corridors together with colored lines.

Select the .... DIAGONAL LINE tool in the paint toolbar on the left .... select its line thickness .... choose a color from the chart at the bottom and draw on your map. If you make a mistake you can erase the line using the .... ERASER .... (located just under the dotted star).

It is quite simple and fun to to make your map, although it will take several hours to map all the Tomb. Soon as you enter the Tomb, make a note of the 5 doors/ corridors that you see (note their shape, colour and the hieroglpyh above the door). Next click on the arrows either side of the door and map all the doors you see in your first line. When you have completed the first line, enter into an empty corridor to the second line of doors and repeat the process. Note where the corridor leads to and try to find the correct corridor back to the line you just came from and then you can link them with a connecting line. Then try another corridor and gradually work your way deeper into the Tomb until your map is complete.

If you enter into a library, you will find 4 scrolls to read, but this will lock you out the Tomb for 12 hours.

Do not enter into the jewelled doors as they are all traps and you will be locked out the Tomb for 1 hour.

The scrolls I have read always appear behind the same Library Door. The Library's may differ behind the doors for some. You decide to read the scroll that matches your Faerie Statue hidden within the Tomb. Choose the correct scroll because you will be locked out the Temple for 12 hours after reading one.

Reading a Library Scroll
You seem to have entered some kind of library.
Four scrolls are laid out on the table before you. Perhaps you should read one of them...
You tentatively step forward and take one of the scrolls.

Your pet reads the scroll and gains a little insight.

Then a trap door opens under your feet and you find yourselves thrown out of the temple onto the desert sands.

Neopets is one of the most creative and unique sites I have seen. With the introduction of Neoquest II, neopets is allowing players to better understand how a computer processes information. There is still a lot of casino type gaming on the site, though, which may or may not be healthy for children ~ or even adults ~ Keno, Poker, Slots, Etc. We don't really need to start children gambling so early * Update - Australia just passed a law related to this topic.* The skill games, the action/adventure - type games and similar activities are appropriate. Perhaps the neoschools will continue the computer lessons begun in Neoquest II? Many users would benefit from learning how to troubleshoot basic software problems. If you find yourself spending many hours a day on this site or any site, maybe you need to vary your activities. Like, do something besides sit at your computer!!! If you find yourself needing to gain millions of nps for expensive weapons, etc., and dominate and defeat opponent after opponent in the two player battledome, there is definitely room to find meaning in your life in other ways ~ A word to the wise. Also, many battledome items are way overpriced and are being downgraded rather often. Don't let yourself get caught up in a rat race to keep up with all the Joneses. There is no reason why a person should need to spend millions of neopoints in order to buy good battledome weapons.
