Well for starters i assume u are using a linux distor with latest QT libraries..if not get one. There are many live CD versions with full devlopment tools from QT. Then there are toold from trolltech (company which made QT) , tools are-QTAssistant-QTDesigner-QTLinguistyou may wana search for the tutorials of these tools. I know for sure there are some basic tutorials in the QTDocs (which should be included with ur QT library or can be found at the website of trolltech)Then there KDevelop which is prime devlopment tool for KDE. KDE as you might know is a major Desktop Environemnet (all QT based )for Linux and free OSes ..(there are plans to make KDE avialble for Windows also). There are neat wizards for making simple QT applications and using QTDesigner etc from Kdeveloper.Last but not least C++ is not the only language which can be used with QT. QT has bindings for Java and other languages. Search for the lessons on trolltech's site and tell us how u find them.adios

It's been a wile since I programmed QT... ;)

If I remember correctly there was a great online book which was called something like "The KDE QT Bible" or something like that (do a google search with that title).

About KDE Developer I'm really quite ceptic about it, it's quite messy in my opinion, but I'm the cmd promt + Vi editor kind of guy :P

Returning to KDE if you can handle C++ with some ease you should not have any problem using the Qt libraries, it's quite strait foward stuff.

So my advise is to serch that book I mentioned... I would send it to you but I dont have it in this PC I'm on right now. If I dont forget I will post some toturials I found heapfull (don't remember the titles at this moment) in the following site:
ask4info.pt.vu

...ohh and if I do forget use the webmaster email in that site and remember me! :P
