as per u r tutorial How to assign a virtual domain name to your localhost.

i added a line webprj

and in my addressbar keyed in http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

its wroking fine

instead of the servername/localhost , i can use webprj and the page gets displayed properly

wht i needed is something like http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ or http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

and my http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ shld get dispalyed

instead of the user keying in the pagename.aspx something like above

You could name your default page as index or default according to the server settings. I'm not sure what are the defaults in the case of asp. There must be a default page name for the server. Doing that your user will not have to type the name of the pageI do that with my php pages but I'm not sure about asp.I hope that helps
