How To Install Phpbb Skins/templates

Well I read an article from http://www.phpbbstyles.com/ on how to install templates, and I tried to follow them but couldn't follow them.

This post explains how to install styles.
1. Unpack style somewhere on your computer. Make sure you unpack it with subdirectories as it is in zip file.

2. Use FTP client to upload files on your forum. If you don't have FTP client or don't have access to forum files then you can't install style. If you don't know how to use FTP client search on google for "ftp tutorials" and you'll see lots of tutorials on how to use different FTP clients.

2a. Upload style to directory "templates".

2b. When uploading make sure directory name is exactly as in zip file. Some archivers add one more directory when unpacking files - make sure there are no double directories. Example of such double directory is when unpacking file "morpheus_english.zip" archiver will create directory "morpheus_english\Morpheus\" - upload only directory "Morpheus", not "morpheus_english".

2c. When uploading make sure directory name is correct. Directory names are case sensitive. If you are not sure about correct directory name look inside that directory - there should be .cfg file with name that matches template name. Directory name must be exactly as name of that cfg file (don't confuse that file with theme_info.cfg or xs.cfg - those are different .cfg files)

3. When you have uploaded style open forum in your browser, login as administrator, on bottom of page click "go to administration panel".

4. If you don't have eXtreme Styles mod installed then in admin control panel on left panel select "add" in "styles management" section.
If you do have eXtreme Styles mod installed then in admin control panel on left panel select "styles management" in "extreme styles" section, then click "install styles" on right panel.

5. You will see list of styles to install. If style that you have uploaded is in that list then click "add" to install it.

5a. If style that you have uploaded is not in that list then you most likely have incorrectly uploaded style. Recheck directory name to make sure it is correct. Make sure files templates/StyleName/StyleName.cfg and templates/StyleName/theme_info.cfg exist (replace "StyleName" with name of that style). If directory name is correct then check if style is already installed - to do that in admin control panel click "configuration" in "general admin" section and take a look at list of available styles in option "set default style".

6. If you want to change default style to style that you have just installed then in admin control panel select "configuration" in section "general admin". Then scroll down to style selection and select new default style. If you want to force all users to use new style then also enable option "override user style" that is next to style selection. If option "override user style" is off then new default style will only affect guests and new users, but old users including you will have to change style in profile too.

The problem is that there is not templates folder. When I try to install the folder in the fantastico data then the phpbb folder, all that is inside the phpbb folder is computer.trap17.com (mysite) and i cannot click on that. Can someone please help me!!!

The folder will be in your public_html folder not the fantastico.data folder. The directories etc will be in whatever directory you told fantastico to install phpbb in
