C/c++ Compilers in need of c/c++ compilers

What OS? And do you want free complier?Windows: free - dev C++, djgpp | comercial: MS Visual C++Linux (only free ;p) - gcc (type 'gcc' in your shell)

Yes, Dev-C++ is an IDE and it comes with an excellent compiler... one that most Linux distro's use too. I use it all the time and really haven't had any real issues with it.
