Average Growth

Recommended Posts

hello all, im just popping in to ask a few questions about my website/forum.

Firstly, i get a fair amount of visitors (i assume) although im not sure.
Some stats from my forums:

Average registrations per day:1.56 Average posts per day: 7.16 Average topics per day: 1.76

anyways, i was just wondering how fast a community should be growing ( i have 40 members currently )
also, i was curious as to how to keep track of some more stats (such as how many hits per day, hits total) on my website itself. i know its possible through php, but im not really sure how to do it. any help would be greatly appreciated :D thanks

well, in your Cpanel there is somthing called Latest Visitors, and that will give you the IP addresses of everyone that looks at anything on your site.and there is also a feature called Web/FTP Statsthat will give you the statistics of your website... it will give you the stats for as long as your site has been up and running, monthly stats and if you dig deeep enough in the stats, it will give you a daily, monthly, and hourly stats of your site...Cpanel is a verry cool tool, that has your name crawling all over it, run through cpanel a bit and look at all the features they have!

Getting one or more a day registrations is great work. Keep in mind that you will get alot more visitors. How many sites have you been to and not registered?Keep advertising, keep making new cool things for new members to do and you'll be away laughing.
