manuleka 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2012 I've finally decided it is time to move to Windows 7... so i created a bootable USB win7 media, fortunately i always set my system drive separate from my data partitions... so it was just a matter of installing Win 7 over the XP system partitioni also had to move some folders around my other partitions because i needed to free up a second partition to merge with the XP partition for Win 7now everyting is running fine but i'm having some problems with datas on the partitions - its to do with the permissions... somehow the folders are all read only...is there a way of setting all these to remove the read only permission mode.. when i right click on a folder properties and remove the read only it doesn't work Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
