Changing Locking Scheme For Table Having 4 Cr Rows

Hi Guys,I am facing heavy amount of deadlocks in my environment.I am currently using Sybase Version 15.0.3 and locking scheme for the table is all page locking scheme.I thought changing the locking scheme will help in reducing the deadlocks.Please suggest if some other mechanism exists to avoid deadlocks.Also how we can change locking scheme for such high volume table.Whether we need to do bcp out and in for same and how much time it will take.Also My ASE Servers are very busy and tables sizes are high (1Cr ++).They are running 24*7 and previously update statistics and reorg maintenance activities not run from last one year So I want to run it but time frame will always be night time.In morning heavy load will come and these activities should not be possible.Please suggest how can i go for these activities with specific time frame.
