Internet connection issue between PC and PS3Internet Connection Sharing Problems

O.K. Here it goes... I am in the military and the only way I can get my PS3 online where I am located is to use ICS. My PC is connected to the internet via wireless antenna, then ICS is enabled and from there I have the best ethernet cable you can buy running from my PC to my PS3. I am able to play online however here is the problem! when the PS3 is turned off my internet is amazing for the location I'm in... 2-4 mps roughly which is ok to play with a little lag. However once I turn the PS3 on my internet goes crazy, it will be ok for 5 mins then drop, then ok for 5 min then terrible then good then it drops... I'm going crazy! please help me figure this one out... I don't know what to do. Btw I am using Vista... Probably the first problem...
