How To Add More Items To Drop Down Menu Favorites Drop Down Menu

When clicking on Favorites at top of browser,drop down menu appears,scroll to folder,drop down menu appears,folder only shows 27 items listed:other items do not appear.although it says it is saved.Q: How to increase the number of items that it can handle? Using Windows XP/Sp2/Internet Explorer 8Any suggestions?
