I have a MTU problemNeed Help Changing MTU Settings For XBox

Hi I have a wall jack splitting to 2 modems the first modem has one ethernet cord that goes into the computer and the other modem has an ethernet cord goes into my xbox 360 the modem that goes into my xbox is slightly older model but,hey it works and this may seem really over-complex but its better than buying a 39.99 router with 11.99 25 ft ethernet cords it only cost me for 2 cable cords,a splitter and one ethernet cord(I got it at a garage sale) but anyways I got it all set up right and when I did the test it said the error solutions... Its pratically the same exept for the laptop part,I have a desktop
