printing to usb printer installed on remote computerSharing Printer On Another Computer

When I try to go to the computer that has the printer physically connected to it via an USB port this is what I get.

"MyComputer is not accessible. You may not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of the server fo find out if you have access permissions. The network path was not found."

I am the only one that uses this computer so I thought I was the administrator. Evidently not. This is not the first time I have been unable to perform functions because of this message. Can someone help? Thanks!
