6 Month Old Xp Pro Randomly Shuts DownComputer Turns Self Off

Hi I have a PC with XP pro (around 6 months old self build) which switches it's self off randomly, e.G. This used it for an hour, then left it standing for about half an hour and when I came back it had switched off. Have checked power settings all set to never, the PC seams very quiet ie no noisy fans etc. Anyone have any ideas, overheating maybe??
