BCD 1 Report post Posted June 26, 2009 Yes its not a free. "Tor Button" plugin for firefox can be used to keep anonymity. By default it uses privoxy network for proxying. But one thing is that, while using TOR, we are accessing net through somebody else's PC and the same happens, ie somebody may use our PC's for doing illegal activity which would mean that our PC will be under scanner. 100janovski 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2009 To use it with Tor plugin it's free, but if you want private faster proxy from XeroBank you need to pay. I don't know how much costs that, but it's cool software. And that's right that when you use Tor some one can use your IP as proxy.
yordan 10 Report post Posted June 26, 2009 And that's right that when you use Tor some one can use your IP as proxy. Not sure. If you did not install a tor server and if your privoxy is listening on localhost:80, there is no way to use your own PC as a proxy. When you surf with tor, you have the identity of a tor node, and this does not make your PC become a tor node.

Maybe i don't know, but however it's doing a great job if you want to do some job on internet annonymously Im using it some times to make fake refferals.(not for money or something similar)Btw this is edited Mozilla Firefox by XeroBank. They just added their addon, and added some buttons (for example to reflush the network for new identity).
