Cuil was launched with much fanfare last time with lot of hope to give Google some competition. However that went down as fast as it came up.So will Wolfram will be able to do something special. They are calling it as "a computational knowledge engine which computes answers using data from public and licensed databases."Presently it is released to a selected set of people.So watct out the space.
