wutske 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2009 So far I have used Joomla, Drupal, E107 and Geeklog and from those I thing Joomla is the best. It's quite easy to manage, extend and theme.Drupal is less easy to use and is also more designed for big and very popular websites.E107 is a bit confusing to use, there are menus, submenu, options, more options ... There is a lot you can do with it, but if you can use Joomla, then I'd skip E107.Geeklog, well, I used it 7 years ago, it's easy, it's geeky, but I think it hasn't changed a lot lately so it's a bit out of date. So, my conclusion: Joomla is the best for simple websites

xboxrulz1405241485 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2009 I've used PHPNuke and PostNuke, but they are generally huge and clunky. They are usually for communities and not much a personal website. For personal or professional websites, I'd recommend Drupal, Joomla or Joomla's predecessor, Mambo. For my personal website, I'm using Drupal, it works really well, it's very modular so that's good.xboxrulz
Haricotcur 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2009 I like Joomla for its user friendliness. It is the most easy to learn CMS. It has lots of plugins and components to enhance but most of them are commercial ones. My choice of CMS is Drupal. It is very versatile and flexible CMS. The plugins are free and easy to download. Match1405241574 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2009 I tried Drupal, it is very much like Wordpress, low weight, easy to work. Joomla would be in serious Mr. and complex. In general, I decided to make Joomla even more support in Joomla better, more templates. Thank you all for your assistance.
