Turph 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2008 If you go to http://www.apple.com/ an then try to log in (it doesn't matter if it fails), you see a green label next to the favicon that says "Apple Inc. (US)" in Firefox. I have seen variations of this on other web URLs.How is that done? I know how to display a favicon, but I can't find out the HTML code for the extended label. Does anyone know. 8ennett 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 That is a unique feature in the version of internet explorer you are using. It is actually the ownership information of the site, like a digital signature.
