xboxrulz1405241485 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2007 Still running MacOS X 10.4? Well, here's a great news. Apple released 10.4.11 and it's newer counterpart 10.5.1 for their respective operating system versions to patch up many holes. Both sports a new kernel revision. The MacOS X 10.4.11 also sports the latest copy of the new Safari 3. So better update your computer to get 10.4.11 or 10.5.1 (depending on which OS version you own). ethergeek 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2007 I updated my MBP to 10.5.1 yesterday...I haven't noticed any differences at all performance-wise, and all my apps seem to still work...though it does feel like thunderbird takes slightly longer to start up after I did the update. xboxrulz1405241485 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2007 hmmm... it was just a slight difference, not a huge difference, like going from a system start up of 15 seconds to 1 minute.xboxrulz
