sjc 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2004 i need to upgrade my video card, i have only an integrated crappy one.before i go to the store though, how do i know if i have an "agp slot" on my motherboard?and,is agp the type of card i want? or pci?everyone has always told me agp, but this dude at radio shack tried telling me pci was better. mohit-vohra 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2004 Well i think u should go for an AGP slot...beczuse by default a pc does hv 3 pci slots...which are more than enough...for say ur lan card...ur sound card...In addition u can get one additional or maybe two agp slots.
