Okay, I don't know if most of you have heard this song but I just came upon it now. I came across the phrase: "Bush knocked down the towers" I was like WTF!? I was so insulted that someone would say such a thing. Give me a reason as to why any President, not just Bush, would do that kind of thing. Here is a citation from the song:

Whether I believe him or not is irrelevant, but if you're taking on a conspiracy don't use weak flawed arguments Saying he hired someone who FAILED to kill him, well, why wouldn't he? If this was true, he would make people like you believe it wasn't true by making sure it at least appeared his life was also in jeopardy when in fact he could have been perfectly safe and just making it seem like he was a target :)I don't really have the energy to tackle this one, I just figured since you do seem very interested in this "conspiracy" you should really think through your logic better before just saying its wrong heh.Oh and if you want a mind trip about this, there is a movie/documentary/whatever called Loose Change I believe, I only saw part but if its at all accurate it makes you think alot.

alright. there's a slight chance they're right. but think about it, would you trust everything this rapper say? I don't mean to say that all rappers are stupid. there are rappers out there who may be smart. But generally, hip-hop artists, like most people don't know what's happening. These are just wild theories to get some attention I believe.

I know, I'm just saying you dismissing them simply because of their method of presenting some 'facts' is as ignorant as them assuming you'll believe those 'facts'. Plus rappers and other musicians sing, on a regular basis, about fictional events and occurrences. Just like tv, the net, movies, and books you can't believe everything you read, hear, or see in the entertainment world nor are you expected to by the artist in many cases.

Remember Bush wasn't in the White House at the time!! He was reading to some children...

Now ask yourself this: a socially aware rapper, who is by all means is intelligent and does have access to certain amounts of information, is far more likely to construct an opinion that is centered on the 'truth'. 

Governments will lie not to protect us but to protect themselves. 

P.S. If you are doubtful about information in the song do some research on it! The 'truth' is often far more bizarre than the reality governments and the media like to construct. Read the Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein if you want to begin seeing things in a new light.
