Creating Personal Alarm To remind you something

Recommended Posts

Creating Personal AlarmThis personal alarm is very useful to remind you something or anything you would like it to do.Use Task Scheduler application to create your personal alarm.First, click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Scheduled Tasks. Now click on the Add Scheduled Task wizard in the Task Scheduler folder. Click Next, click the Browse button, and then select your favorite sound files (WAV/MP3/MIDI). Set the file to open as the task daily. Set it at the top of the hour every day, open up its advanced properties. On the Schedule tab press the Advanced button, put a checkmark next to Repeat task and have it repeat every hour. Here's another idea for fun to surprise someone.Using Task Scheduler application, simply add your freaking sound files:P and the time you specify. Then, let your sister or someone use your pc and see what happen(huh?!, I think they only surprise the sound run automatically not the freaking sound:P)If you know how to make sound running on background or hidden that will be good!

I am gonna set one immediately and ensure that it wakes me up and also put it for important hrs every day. Thanks man.

The task scheduler is a typical example of Windows functionality I have never used. Nice tutorial. I think it would be possible to execute a program in the background so people won't see the music playing. There must be some kind of command line mp3 player which will start with a simple batchfile.
