iGuest 3 Report post Posted August 20, 2010 bad screws...Tools Required To Open Up A Hard Drive...Your only option at this point is to drill them. VERY CAREFULLY! You need a drill press to keep the bit vertical, and you need to take it slow, raise and lower and let the casing cool so you induce bad sectors on the disk. And make sure everything is grounded when you are drilling! You will probably need a new case after wards, but at least you will get your disks out. At your own risk..
