If you want to start a newsletter service for the visitors of your site, you may consider to install Letterman 1.2.3 newsletter component for your Mambo/Joomla site. Although the installation is pretty simple, still a quick note will help you.

 

Step-by-step installation guide:

 

1. Download the source file and save those to your hard disc.

 

2. Install com_lettermansubscribe_1.2.3.tar.gz as a Mambo Component.

 

3. Then install mod_lettermansubscribe_1.2.3.tar.gz as a Mambo Module.

 

4. That's all you need to do.

 

Now you have to publish the Letterman Newsletter module so that the visitors to your website can subscribe/unsubscribe in the newslettter.

 

In the backend as an administrator you will get to configure your newsletter settings, manage your subscribers and compose, publish and send mails.
