pyost 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2006 I have finally bought a domain name, so I wanted it to work with my Xisto account. I changed the nameservers with my domain (godaddy.com) and parked it in my CPanel. When I enter the domain I get my web site, and all the links look good, but when i go to http://myDomain.com/forum, which is actually subdomain.astahost.com, I do get http://myDomain.com/forum, but all the links are subdomain.astahost.com/forum/index.php?something. After clicking on any of them, it switches to the Xisto address. Also, none of my Xisto subdomain (smth.subdomain.astahost.com) aren't working.Now, will this all be solved if I go to https://support.xisto.com/ and change my domain name? What should I do exactly to fix all these probles? I really don't want to spend 15 credits for nothing, or make some stupid mistake, so I need detailed instructions Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
szupie 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2006 I have this problem too. It sometimes works for me if I ftp files to http://www.mydomain.com/ instead of subdomain.astahost.com, but sometimes it doesn't. pyost 0 Report post Posted March 5, 2006 Ok, so now I've solved the forum links problem, I just had to change the board url in the config file.But a problem still remains!
