 where is the "Add New Content" you mention above (Twitch, I mean)? I installed MoxieCode image manager, which seems to work O.K. From within TinyMCE, but within it's "upload" area it specifically says .Swf files aren't allowed...

please see the those steps your will be added your flash file joomla successfully

1. localhost/joomla/administrtor -> login joomla

2. open localhost JOOMLA admin control panel

3. GO TO menu ->Media Manager

4. create a folder Name (flash)

5. NEXT Browse (your  .Swf file) uploadind flash floder ok

6. NEXT OPEN THIS LINK

7. https://extensions.joomla.org/

8. download the module Click

9. download 1.5.X( choose version) Click

10.  another page show

11.  mod_flashmod_v3.0.2.Zip downlaoding Your Disktop ok

12.  GO To open joomla admin panel

13.  MENU -> Extensions menu click install/uninstall

14.  browse the before downloaded module and install(mod_flashmod_v3.0.2.Zip)

15.  yes success full install

16.  Extensions -> menu open Module Manager

17.  see The Flash Module click on red

18.  green color show

19.  then go to

20.  module manager

21.  click on The Flash Module edit

22.  right side ( file name: travel.Swf)

23.  give heigh:xxx width:xxx

24.  left side select position "top"

25.  left select the order "the flash module"

26.  SAVE

27.  see site preview

28.  ok its flash file open successfully flash open Joomla

hi guys it is very simple to insert an  *.Swf into joomla first you have to copy all your swf and related files into a folder and paste it into your joomla website where all folders like admin ,plugin,module,component etc. And now make go to module manager and make new module name with wrapper module their you just paste the file path of your swf file and put the module as your desired position .

Display weather forecast from other site which is flash

 

How To Embed Swf Files In Joomla ?

I wanted to display weather forecast from accuweather.Com . The html code given by them will actually render a flash file. When I place them with in Joomla (using Jumi PHPcomponent) it is not displaying any content, I think joomla is not rendering flash file. 

When I host the same file out of joomla under the same server, it shows flash!!.

What to do with Joomla to render flash from other site ???

Just download the CK Editor and simply install the in joomla then go global configuration set the WYSIWYG Editor select the CK Editor then go to your article page there automatically change editing option click the flash button and call swf file your problem is solve...

Dear Sir,Warm Wishes..I have done exactly, what you said and it its working good, but a small problem I am facing is - It is only working for menus not for submenus.With Submenus pages not Flash File looking to be running. Only A blank space is getting displayed with submenu page.With parent menu page - flash is running very good.Please help me on this uneven behaviour.ThanksGod Bless you.

how do you call it?Is it from the computer directories or you will have to copy the .Swf file to a particular folder in joomla?
