Jguy101 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2005 Hmm...well, come to think of it, I know a Linux geek, and maybe he'd install Kubuntu for me. But, Yellow Dog is supposed to be easy to configure for dialup modems. I'd plan on boosting RAM anyway....but then there's the risk of my sound not working (If I went with Yellow Dog, that is). Of course, I could always just get a used IBM ThinkPad for $350-$400 from that Linux-lover friend, with MEPIS installed..... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
