ruben1405241511 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2005 (edited) Hi!I'm just trying to make my Mac a little bit more convenient with Growl and Butler, and I came across the possibility to set up different skins for different events in different programs. I kinda liked the idea of getting a small message when receiving messages, a "music video"-style thing when someone goes online, a bezel message when a new discussion starts, etc.But I was not able to set it up to work with Adium. That program seems to override the adjustments in Growl itself (because it has basic setup in itself) and I only have the standard style for everything. I was just wondering, am I too stupid for this, because it is not in the support database (and it would be if it was a bug, right?) and I can't figure it out. Maybe one of you already did that before, so I just ask By the way I really recommend Butler (formerly: Another Launcher), it is a great app, it combines so many features I have been missing in OS X. I'm pretty sure some of the features will be implemented quite soon. I especially use the iTunes hotkeys and the little menu. I have a very nice hotkey for leaving the computer now. I press it and it shuts off ongoing processes and turns on the screensaver But Butler has many more features. It's donateware by the way (practically freeware if you are don't have a good heart).// hehe something I just came across.. Press Ctrl+Alt+Apple+8 at the same time and then use your laptop at night, when trying to hack WLANs >Thanks if anyone knows about this Adium issue,Ruben Edited November 12, 2005 by microscopic^earthling (see edit history)
