bob3695 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2005 I just installed the mambo CMS and I try to edit the configuration file but it say "Unwriteable". How do make it writeable? It also says when I go in template install media/ Unwriteable administrator/templates/ Unwriteable templates/ Unwriteable images/stories/ UnwriteableWhat do I have to do? hazeshow 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2005 You have to chmod the files which are unwritable, if in doubt try 777. Mambo should tell you which files need to be writable, you have to change permissions for these files/directories with your ftp-program.
