ASR1405241491 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2005 Hey folks, for some reason my mambo content editor is not working like it supposed to. There seems to be a corruption in the codes... I dont know, please help me out.When I enter a sentence into one of the content area, it works when I save it.But I was trying to enter a whole calendar or anything with more than a sentence's worth of memory, it wouldn't let me save it. I dont know what to do, if anybody can help me out, thatll be great...I think the only way to solve this problem is to download the content and edit it on desktop and upload back to website. Could anybody tell me how I could access a specific content to write it in dreamweaver? I tried loggin into ftp, but cant find location of content to do it. miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2005 Hi Asr, I've never encountered such a problem ever - so I can't help you out in fixing that. A reinstall is probably your best bet. On the other hand, if you want to grab your content off the database, then opne up your mambo db using phpMyAdmin from the cPanel and browse the table named, mos_content - assuming you used the default mambo prefix mos for your tables. This table is most likely to hold your content... Try backing up the database through phpMyAdmin first and then delete/reinstall mambo.. and see if it works out..
