Colored Scrollbars

Please, can anyone tell me how to make a colored scrollbar for a website?(I'm a HTML dummie so please don't use any difficult terms).Thanks.

Well it's css that you use to make them coloured i'm pretty sure, i've never tried it myself, since i think it only works in Internet Explorer (someone correct me if i'm wrong). I did abit of searching (well not really went into http://www.pixel2life.com/ and found out some websites to help you with colouring your scrollbars)

Why? Is it because W3C doesn't recognise such changing of the scrollbar colours using CSS? To be frank, I don't see many professionally-designed sites using coloured scrollbars, mostly on personal webistes and blogs.

Yeah, thats why i've never bothered trying to change the colour since it won't show up in Firefox, it doesn't really help the effect of the webpage i don't reckon, but it's quite useful as said by jcguy on personal webpages to show ur creativity
