Router Log: **smurt** From 192.168.1.2 whats a Smurt ?

I have a cheap Q-tech home broadband router, ive noticed the following stranghe events in the system logs of the router.

2005/01/31 18:20:08 : **Smurt** from 192.168.1.22005/01/31 17:00:03 : **Smurt** from 192.168.1.22005/01/31 15:39:58 : **Smurt** from 192.168.1.22005/01/31 14:59:54 : **Smurt** from 192.168.1.22005/01/31 14:39:49 : **Smurt** from 192.168.1.22005/01/31 14:29:45 : **Smurt** from 192.168.1.22005/01/31 14:24:42 : **Smurt** from 192.168.1.22005/01/31 13:11:01 : **Smurt** from 192.168.1.22005/01/31 12:30:57 : **Smurt** from 192.168.1.22005/01/31 12:10:52 : **Smurt** from 192.168.1.22005/01/31 12:00:48 : **Smurt** from 192.168.1.22005/01/31 11:55:45 : **Smurt** from 192.168.1.2

192.168.1.2 is the address of my Gentoo Linux box.
whats goping on here ???

false alarm,,, seems SMURT is a typo, meant to be "SMURF"so then i panicked thinking my machies a ben hacked and was being used as poart of a DDOS attack.turns out it was Samba Pinging Broadcast looking for Windows Clients.abort the self destruct ;)

I know i'm not supposed to write one liners, but i have to do it now... LOL.Which reminds me, My router doesn't allow me to change the time and date, so it's 2002 according to my router. Quite weird.. Good thing I just use it to share internet with...
