What Do You Think Of These Lyrics? the lyrics to a couple of songs I wrote

Hey just wondered what people thought about these lyrics, they're from a song called Lies that I co-wrote with my band, Local Rate. This song is a W.I.P.

what does the old town means????..for being named "lies" it doesn't say much about it....

It sounds quite good! I'm never really good at judging lyrics without the hearing the song because a song can have amazing lyrics and a bad tune or the other way round! What's your band called? What type of stuff you do? "Alternative"?

Yep the lyrics are good, although it is hard to judge without knowing the rythem/style that your gunna use... and as localrate sead you might want to make the song name a bit more relevant

The lyrics could potentially go many ways over an arrangement perhaps you could also post a sound byte if you have a melody in mind or if you play an instrument so we could get a feel for what is going on harmonically and melodically along with reading the lyrics. Would also like to see some other people post links to thier music sites and/or song links - I would really like to hear what some other people on here are doing musically.
