I have joined this webhost as I saw on the front page that it supported JSP.
However, I got this simple JSP script from a tutorial and it won't work.
Can anyone tell me why?

You need to get 50 good posts and request for account upgradation, then u will get jsp and servlet support (Why so? because jsp uses more CPU resources)

It currently says:

Hello! The time is now <%= new java.util.Date() %>

If JSP was working, <%= new java.util.Date() %> should have been replaced with the time.

JSP is supported by Xisto, I am unfamiliar with jsp but all I can say is that you should check your syntax or whatever to make sure your code is of profficient quality.

JSP puts a lot of load on the SERVER so we do not install the SERVLET by default. Please request it at the REQUEST HOSTING FORUM and we will install the servlet.ISSUE RESOLVED. TOPIC CLOSED.
