enterthematrix 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 Which one are you considering?
shaldengeki1405241473 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 WHOAMG J00 FORGOT N-GAGE!! XDBut I'm considering the DS, primarily because I've heard a lot of good feedback about it from my friends. Plus, ya know, the two screens is a huge plus. >_> At least, that's what I'm hearing.
enterthematrix 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 But the screen gets messed up in a few days of use! It has horrible graphics compared to the PSP and is going to be obsolete in a year! The PSP is going to rock! AND THE PSP WILL HAVE DDR!!!
shaldengeki1405241473 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 You forget that DDR is only truly fun if you have a pad. >_> Plus, while I have Nintendo systems, I have absolutely no Playstation-line systems or games. >_> Oh, and I live five minute's walk away from the arcade, so I can play DDR anytime I want. enterthematrix 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 True. But the PSP is supposed to use a wireless pad. How cool will that be? Portable DDR. WHEN WE GO TO MATH CONTESTS...DDR. At school...DDR. Anywhere. DDR=the reason for life.
shaldengeki1405241473 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 I thought Jacqui was the reason for life. XD
enterthematrix 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 Heh. Glad you brought that up.http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
chickenside 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 I asked myself this question today. I think that the PSP has got more stuff. You know, can play music videos and games and stuff. DS is limited to games. At least, that's what I heard, no?
enterthematrix 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 Yes. That's right. The PSP will be a TON more useful than the Ds. WiFI! MP3. It will even play DVD's when Sony starts making them in that size. It's going to be great. But we DO have to wait until March 13.
shaldengeki1405241473 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 And it costs more, no? How much?
enterthematrix 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 Just a bit more. Maybe 250.
shaldengeki1405241473 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 Add that to the fact that I don't need all of those features, since I have other electronics that can serve the same purpose, and that really seals my opinion in favor of the DS.
chickenside 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2004 You know what? I wholesomely agree with you.$250? Is that CDN or US?These handhelds are supposed to be used for GAMING. If you want a movie, music player, go buy a DVD player, an MP3 player, a laptop, or one of those portable media centers. If PSP is supposed to be used for MEDIA, then it should not be compared to the GAMING handhelds. Compare it to the handheld windows media center, in which case it wallops the PSP (but at $800 CDN!).
Chocobo Cookies 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2004 I agree with the others, if you want something besides a gaming system, don't get a gaming system. [though the only things I use my PS2 for are DVDs, DDR, and Monster Rancher 4. XD]I'm getting a DS for my b-day (hopefully).
