Hamtaro 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2005 Yes, the host is localhost. You can use your cpanel username and password for MySQL. I'm not entirely sure about setting up users...I think it allows you to allow users to do only certain things to a database (Like INSERT, UPDATE, etc.). cse-icons 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2005 In the cpanel, when you create a database, there is a provision for creating users as well. create users, assign passwords and give appropriate permissions. You can now use these usernames and password to access the databases.
