Is it possible or do you really have to make 3-4 diffrent CSS file everytime you create a site using CSS for both OS and browsers?Ex. IE for MS Windows vs IE for MACorMozilla for MS Windows vs Linux vs MACThe further more. Is it possible to make the scrollbar thing in CSS working into Mozilla competible browser?I hope to get alot of funny responseCheersBrgdsJens

lhunath 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2004 CSS is beautiful. You need only one CSS file, and in that, you need only one decleration for what you want. Just keep to the standards set by W3C. Have a look here for a good reference for CSS: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ IE is ****ed. IE is hell. And IE rapes CSS. So you have two options. Either, fill your CSS file with hacks and bogus to make it compatible with this spawn from evil. Or get this: http://dean.edwards.name/IE7/intro/

spacewaste1405241471 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2004 Css files are perfect for creating websites faster and more precise...You only need one ccs file for basic websites and with it you can just specify what you want your website to look like instead of making page after page after page...It's perfect for the lazy webmaster
lhunath 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2004 It's perfect for the lazy webmaster <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or a company with a budget, as for that matter. Dynamicly adjusting a thousand pages by changing one line of code. A minute of work, time is money, and money is what makes the world go round.
