I have it for a long time now, and I like it more then the old ones. Pop-up killer is working just great, firewall I don't use, because it blocks some things it shouldn't. Its a good idea about making security center easily accessible to new users. Also, I think they made some additions regarding Wireless and BlueTooth connection and its working much better w/ SP2.

I installed Service Pack 2 two days ago, and have not noticed any benefits. Yes, wireless networking seems to be easier, but I do not have a wireless card, so it didn't help me there. Also, I turned off the firewall because I am on a local network that has a firewall built in and therefore it is unnecessary. However, rather than improvements, I have noticed a problem. Ever since installing SP2, my MS Outlook has been a lot less reliable. Over 50% of the time it is unable to send or receive email from my email accounts. It can not find a connection, even though I know one is there. I wish reinstalling Outlook was easier than it was, otherwise I would try that. I'm hoping it is an issue that will be worked out in later updates, but right now it is frustrating not being able to always connect to my mail servers. I would hold off on downloading and installing SP2 for now.

I've heard that SP2 breaks installations of Vue d'Esprit 4. I like my Vue and my Windows as they are, so I won't download SP2 for now. Not until somebody else tries it and gets it to work :)Vue d'Esprit is a 3D terrain generator and renderer, by the way.

You're not the only one, as far as I can say it never worked for me. Only in those worst of the worst scenarios did it work. It hardly ever works for me even in SP1.But yeah in order to use it you 'have to specify a time in which there were changed made'which i think is stupid. Of course system files were being changed! why else would you use it?! =P

Windows' Service Pack 2 is a blessing! Now I won't be bugged with those pop-ups anymore and I can easily choose which pop-ups I would like to see. Less time for crawling the net for anti-popup softwares because it is already built in in Windows! Yaaay! My programs are running smoother and it added some protection(blocked) on some unknown ports I do not know in my firewall plus it alerts me when something is wrong with my system and reminds of me of its recommendations. For example, my antivirus was turned off, it would automatically inform me to reenable my antivirus for protection, how nice. :) Heh heh, the only problem is the WHQL compatibility with my video card, I hope they have already built something for Windows SP2, works fine though but it would be better if it was digitally signed. Oh well, too many good features to elaborate, there are still many possibility for hacker attacks though.
