How to link a file in Cpanel Troop107-Admin

Say these are my directiories:

www
public_ftp
public_html

and I upload a file in public_html
in the folder: site-files
Filename: somerandomfile.jpg

if I were to link to that file i would address it to

http://www.yourdomain.com/site-files/somerandomfile.jpg

if I didn't put it in site-files it would be
http://www.yourdomain.com/somerandomfile.jpg

YOU DONT PUT public_html IN YOUR ADDRESS

just so people know:/www/ is just a link (shortcut) to /public_html/. In other words, they are the same./public_ftp/ is where you put all your anonymous ftp stuffif you've ever used microsoft's PWS or IIS then /public_html/ is just like the c:\inetpub\www folder, like Troop107-Admin said you don't put the /public_html/ in the file namealso i'm not sure with this webhost but some webhosts often have other folders, ie./mail/ (e-mails)/neomail-prefs/ (or something similar, preferences for webmail program 'neomail'/tmp/ (temporary files, eg. php sessions)/ssl/ (where ssl certificates are stored)

OK mr Adminstrator enjoy ur webspace and hosting stuff and hope noone screws it up well as for copying yes i copied it else where would u get tutorials from no one is genius enough to create tutorials them self cause had he bee good with tutorials wont he just pay for webspace and sell his tutorial and make money .Where do u think MR.ADMIN people get the post here from u think they just make those tutorials and plus whu in the world has time to make tutorials and ask for webspace at the same time .You Actually think all the post that u got here r original and not copied then u r highly i mean highly mistaken.Plus u say u r private firm well if u r then why the hell u got like so many adds to the right to the top of this forum?? what u trying to prove to people ok u got webspace to give but plz dont and i say dont think that u r the best host ....
