I'll give a +1 for ZoneAlarm as well. I used them many years ago and loved the control you have over the firewall. It might be problematic for some though (IIRC the default setting was to ask before letting any program access the Internet) but that's what I loved about it! It's definitely better than the built-in firewall for Windows.
