k_nitin_r 8 Report post Posted June 11, 2012 In Dubai, I noticed that there's a Korean car, the Oullim Spirra, that sells for a pretty high premium. It does defy the norm because generally Korean cars that are imported into the country are the low-value vehicles that people look down upon - people get what they pay for and when they pay for economy cars, the cost-cutting will be evident. The Oullim Spirra, on the other hand, costs roughly one hundred thousand dollars and has a 2.7 litre engine with rear wheel drive mated to a six speed manual transmission. The engine generates five hundred horse power and can do a 0-100 kmph in 3.5 seconds. I believe an all-wheel drive would help in better getting that power to the wheels, though having the wheels spin is one way you can make your presence known in a neighbourhood. The styling on the front of the car seems very retro with the flat headlights (I know I've seen them on another car, but I can't seem to recall it right now). The corrugated rear plate and the two metallic bands add character to the rear of this car, though I think the bands give it the look of a lobster's antennae (do you ever wonder why people make the rear of the cars look like a face whereas they should be focused on doing it to the front of the car?).
