Trip Gfci With Battery

Recommended Posts

(long story short):One day we thought our bathroom plug was bad. We replaced it. The new plug was bad (I think it bay hav been the wrong type of GFCI). One of my relatives is an electrician, he said it was bad. Old plug went back in, new plug went to my room.Is it possible to use a battery with the GFCI with it working 100%?Its a 20A, 2 pole.
