Internet Explorer 9 Rtw Does anyone know more about the final release?

I downloaded the Release Candidate of Internet Explorer a while back, because I wanted to test its ability for CSS3 and HTML5.It seems to handle it this time, unlike previous versions.However, Microsoft announced that the Release To Web version was going to be released on March 14th, and a number of sites announced this release too.But, it seems like nothing at all has been released, my version number is still the same as it was and Windows Update has no new updates (has not had any for a few days now), and I assume Internet Eplorer updates are part of Windows Updates too.In other words, it seems like nothing at all has changed.Does anyone have any further information about this?has anything been released at all? If not, why not, in spite of the announcement? Is a final version of Internet Explorer to be released soon?If anyone knows more about any of the above, could you please share your knowledge with us?Thank you in advance.

I really hope that microsoft will force peoples using windows to change their IE and update it to latest other wise their computer will not boot anymore , i really hope microsoft do that because i'm really tired of peoples coming to my website and say that we can not see website correctly because we are using IE and then i had to look what i have changed recently and write an IE version of the css for it. this is really sad that IE is the last browser going to support css3 , i don't know why microsoft softwares are always like this they only fix it after thousands of years when there is something new is coming and then again they will have problem with newer version and again you have to wait thousands of years to see those solved. and you know why microsoft should force people to upgrade ? because many peoples only know IE and from the first day they have worked with PC have used it and they do not even know that the problem which causes to see the website wrong is from their browser so if microsoft force all peoples to update their IE i will be so happy because i don't have to write a css 3 times for different versions of IE to make it compatible with IE lovers (sometimes i really get mad when someone tells me that is having problem with IE ).Now about the browser itslef, it is the old and dead IE but this time it seems somehow is able to show rounded corners , it again crashes regularly because i just installed it and went to my website in the first tab then i opened another tab and went for gsmarena website and then it closed and showed me that popular error which says that IE has stopped working. the performance is still not good again when you are watching an HD video in youtube the scrolling is really hard and it takes a lot of time to reach the end of the page but sometimes it is working correctly and this is why i really hate IE , it sometimes work just nice but other times it just annoys me. still the problem in number of tabs you open exist, more tabs you open your current tab gets slower and of course the amount of ram occupied is really huge for just a little number of open tabs. anyway this is an IE and it comes with every release of windows and we have to accept it as a part of windows which if you remove it completely you will loose some functionality of your windows. I checked it just right now and it is not available trough windows update, microsoft have designed this website :https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/testdrive/ and as the url says it is still for testing purposes and even without any beta phrase in the name of downloaded version it seems still haven't released officially to be available in windows update. however you can download it from many pages inside microsoft website but as it is not available in windows update so i can say there is probably some problems with it still. i really find the new way of saying that the website you are going to see is not safe just funny, i first saw it when i was going to see blog of my friend and i really amazed by how they have detect that the blog of my friend is harmful. anyway i will not use it even if they release version 100 of their browser.

Hi iniyila,I received an update from the Release Candidate (RC) to Ready To Web (RTW) version of Internet Explorer 9 on Monday 28 March (only a fortnight later than what was announced by Microsoft). At first glance it looked OK, even allowing Flash Player and Flash Shockwave to do their thing.However, after a little while of use, it went back to its good old, wel-known buggy self, when it kept throwing the message "his site is not responding" at me.This seemed to happen after Internet Explorer had shown me a message "This page has been modified to avoid cross-site scripting" (whatever heck that might mean).I seem to remember this error message came when I was looking at a page which relies on Flash, and after that message, things began to go pear-shaped, and Internet Explorer went back to its good old trustworthy untrustworthy status (No, this is not a typo).I am really beginning to wonder when Microsoft are ever going to get things right, and when they are ever going to listen to people instead of always knowing it better (or, at least, pretending to do so).I think we will just have to grin and bear it.I did see some new features in there, some that may be useful (if they work, that is), but they will still have to have a definite look at their plug-ins.
