Dear friends today I would like to share some thing about Swami Vivekananda Jayanti that is the birth day of Swami Vivekananda Ji. Respected Swami Vivekananda's birthday occurs according to the hindi callender on the Paush Krishna Saptami, which means the 7th day after the full moon day in the hindu month known as Paush. Due to which the English date varies from one year to the other. If we are going with English calendar then the date is today in this year that is 12th of January 2011, But according to the Hindu calendar it falls on January 26 this year. Swamiji Vivekananda was born on January 12, 1863.Many programs and functions are organized in India and in many other countries around the world on this day.If we want to remember or honor any saint we should understand his teachings and try to follow the same.
